Senior Citizen Advocate Dies

Senior citizens lost an advocate over the weekend. Sidney Schneider of University City died Saturday at the age of 81. Schneider founded the University City Senior Service Board. He got a medical transportation van for the elderly and set up a food pantry for older residents which served hot meals to senior citizens. Schneider served on several boards for agencies providing services to the elderly.
