The Missouri Tigers football team enjoyed a 31-6 win over the Ohio Bobcats Saturday. The reward for Mizzou’s victory was supposed to be a perfect 4-0 start heading into the Big 12 season which begins against Colorado Sept. 30. Well, that will be the case, but the Tigers received an even better reward from the Associated Press. Released Sunday, the AP poll had Mizzou ranked No. 25, the first time the Tigers have been in the top-25 since 2004 when they began the season at No. 18.

Missouri is as balanced a team as any in the country. Their offense and defense are among the nation’s top-10 in total yardage. The defense leads the nation in total yards per game (175.25). The offense comes in ranked 8th putting up 471 yards per game.
