Mizzou Faces Stiff Competition

September 9, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

The Missouri Tigers host the Rebels of Ole’ Miss today in a non-conference showdown at Faurot Field. It marks the first time an SEC team has visited Columbia since 1984.

Mississippi will provide the Tigers with a much stiffer test than they received last week from Murray State. Mizzou won that game 47-7.

Both the Tigers and Rebels look to earn their second victory on the young season. Ole’ Miss defeated Memphis 28-25 in last week’s season-opening win.
