The end of the Labor Day weekend gives state tourism officials an opportunity to take stock of of how the industry is doing. Tracey Berry with the State Division of Tourism says things appear to have gone well over the Summer. Berry says that while it will be several months before the final revenue results are available, there are already some positive indicators. For instance, hotel occupancy rates for May, June, and July were up and revenue from hotels during those three months were up, as well.
