Tulsa fell behind the Springfield Cardinals, but rallied for a three-run seventh inning, cruising to a 5-4 win at home.
Tulsa opened the game-changing inning with the first five batters reaching base. Alvin Colina reached base on a fielding error by third baseman Travis Hanson to lead off the inning. Pinch-hitter Douglas Bernier followed with a single. And Troy Tulowitzki, Seth Smith, and Joseph Koshansky each followed with run-scoring base hits.
Smith finished the game 3-for-4 with two RBI. Christian Colonel had two hits including a solo homer in the fourth.
Juan Morillo got the win after tossing seven innings and allowing four runs – three earned – on four its and striking out six. Jim Miller earned the save.
