Young Headed To Turkey

August 22, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

Former Missouri Tiger Kevin Young signed a contract to play basketball for the Kepez Belediyesi (Kuh-pez Bella-duh-YES-uh) Basketball Club of the Turkish Basketball League.

Young is the third Tiger from last year’s team to sign a deal to play in Europe. Thomas Gardner and Jimmy McKinney both agreed to deals earlier this year. The 6-foot-8 center nicknamed “Kap” averaged 8.5 points and 7.3 rebounds a senior for Mizzou.
