Royals top pick in the 2006 draft made his organizational debut, Wednesday. Luke Hochevar pitched for the team’s Class A team in Burlington, IA and was impressive to say the least.

The right-hander was limited to just 32 pitches in two innings of work. He surrendered no hit and struck out two. The only base runner allowed reached on an error. Hochevar consistently hit the mid-90’s with his fastball and even struck out 2005’s No. 1 overall pick Justin Upton.
