The St. Louis Blues added a depth at the goalie position with the signing of veteran keeper Manny Legace (legacy) to a one-year contract. The deal is reportedly worth $1.4 million. With the addition of Legace, there will now be three guys vying for time in the crease. Legace will have to battle Curtis Sanford and Jason Bacashua.

Legace has spent the last six seasons with the Detroit Red Wings and was a part of their 2002 Stanley Cup team.
