Kirksville Man Investigated by Feds

August 5, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

The U.S. Attorney’s Office won’t confirm it, but the prosecutor in Adair County says he’s met with federal agents who have been investigating a Kirksville man who runs a racist and anti-semitic web site known as the Vanguard News Network. Prosecutor Mark Williams says federal authorities temporarily shut down Alex Linder’s web site after Linder allegedly posted a suggestion that the killing of a Canadian judge would be “an act of patriotism.” Linder insists he has broken no laws.
