The Springfield Cardinals and Tulsa Drillers have hit enough home runs against each other the last two games, it’d be easy to think you were at a home run derby.

The two teams combined to hit six balls over the fence in Monday’s game; they came right back and hit six more in Tuesday’s 7-6 win for Tulsa.

Joel Koshanksy’s seventh-inning RBI single broke a 5-5 putting Tulsa ahead and making him the hero of the day. Koshansky, part of the home run party, drove in four RBI and scored two times as well.

The Cardinals muscled four of the homers in the game. Juan Richardson was 2-for-4 with a two-run homer. Mike McCoy, Nick Stavinoha, and Dan Moylan also had home runs for Springfield.

Losing pitcher Carmen Cali gave up two runs – one earned – on two hits in one inning of relief.
