Ameren Still Working to Restore Power in St. Louis

July 24, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

AmerenUE says it has 4,000 people working in the St. Louis metro area trying to get power restored as quickly as possible after last week’s two storms left more than one-half million customers without electricity. The utility says it started this day with about 225,000 customers still dark and hoping everybody would be back on-line by Thursday. Work has cut the number of customers without power to 180,000.
