The Blues are holding camp at the St. Louis Mills for its young prospects. Former Blues Al MacInnis, Rob Ramaga, and Mark Reeds are helping to run the drills on ice. Head coach Mike Kitchen is there too, but he is opting to watch from the stands.

No. 1 overall pick Erik Johnson is among the many youngsters in attendance, even though he won’t play for the team next season opting to attend the University of Minnesota for at least a year. According to MacInnis, Johnson is a big kid that is a step ahead of the others.

The team will continue to evaluate its young talent until Saturday. Practice is free and open to the public with autograph signings after each session.
