The two leading U.S. Senate candidates have raised about $3.7-Million in the second quarter of the year, with incumbent Republican Senator Jim Talent getting $2.2-Million of that. Federal campaign finance reports show he has about $7-Million in the bank. Democratic Senate candidate Claire McCaskill has about $2.8-Million on hand. Polls continue to show the race is tight.
