St. Louis School Superintendent Denies He’s Stepping Down

July 14, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

St. Louis School Superintendent Creg Williams says he has no intention of stepping down. Williams says he will ignore rumors that some members of the school board have taken aim at him now that long-time Vashon basketball coach Floyd Irons has been fired. Williams says he plans to honor his contract and expects the board to honor it as well. Williams has been on the job only 15 months. He signed a four-year contract with an annual salary of $250,000 in April of 2005.
