Auditor Candidate in Trouble With Cardinals

July 12, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

State Auditor candidate John Loudon is in trouble … with the St. Louis Cardinals. Loudon, a State Senator from Chesterfield, has sent out invitations to a fund-raiser at Busch Stadium that look like Cardinals baseball tickets, down to the team’s logo and images of the players. He didn’t ask permission. The Cardinals have demanded Loudon replace the invitation. Loudon says he will comply. The $250-a-person fundraiser can still be held in a supporter’s box at Busch.
