MU Research Encourages Exercise for Many Cancer Patients

Research at the University of Missouri-Columbia indicates cancer patients who exercise have improved balance and are better able to take part in daily activities. Those conducting the study say patients don’t get tired as quickly and are in better moods if they exercise. One of the researchers says patients should talk to their oncologists before starting an exercise program, though because some kinds of exercise might not be proper for all cancer patients.
