The Springfield Cardinals snapped a two-game losing streak beating Tulsa 8-4. The two teams traded runs for the first four innings before Springfield opened up with four runs in the fifth inning to take control of the game. Juan Richardson, Travis Hanson, and Jarrett Hoffpauir drove in runs in the inning.

Reliever Justin Garza was rescued from a poor performance and escaped with the win. He allowed two runs on three hits and three walks in only 1.1 innings. Cardinals starter Carmen Cali struggled in his outing surrendering two runs on three hits and walking six batters in three innings.

Springfield’s Cody Haerther showed good patience drawing four walks and scoring twice.
