Enron founder Ken Lay has died of a massive heart attack at his vacation home in Colorado. Lay was a native of Tyrone, Missouri….graduated from Hickman High School in Columbia…and graduated from the University of Missouri. In 19-99 he donated Enron stock to the University to create a Ken Lay chair in economics. The school later sold the stock for 1.3-million dollars and twice refused to give Lay the money to pay for expenses tied to his trial for corporate fraud. Lay was convicted of all charges in May…and was waiting sentencing on September 11th.
