Court Told to Give Medicaid Cuts Challenge Another Look

A federal appeals court says the Legislature and the Blunt Administration were “unreasonable” in making some of the cuts in the Medicaid program they made last year. The court has told a Jefferson City judge to reconsider the case that tried to keep the cuts from going into effect. The court says it’s likely illegal for the state to provide some durable medical equipment, but eliminate funding for other equipment.
