Springfield Residents Accuse Drug Agents of Intimidation

June 19, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

A Springfield woman and her son say they were beaten and intimidated by a drug enforcement team that broke into their home last week looking for a meth lab that did not exist. Patricia Durr-Pojar was kept at a hospital for two nights for treatment of her injuries. Her son, Curtis, has bruises on his back. She says police knocked her to the floor and handcuffed her and her son, broke windows, doors, and screens, and set off stun grenades. Officers did find some marijuana in her son’s trailer nearby.
