The Montgomery City policeman shot four times last week has been released from a Columbia hospital. The police chief is not sure when Officer Brandon Lybarger will return to work. Lybarger was shot after he and another officer stopped a car for running a stop sign. Police say the driver, Bryan Tullock of St. Peters, then ran to a mobile home after shooting Lybarger, killed a woman there, and wounded another man. He was caught several hours later. Investigators say the dead woman is a friend of Tullock’s estranged wife. They say the estranged wife had moved in with the man Tullock shot and wounded.
