If the Mizzou baseball team can play like they did last weekend, they might be able to take home some lumber this year. The Tigers enter the Big 12 Conference Tournament today after completing a three-game sweep of Texas. The Longhorns are a quality top ten team which should give Mizzou some confidence going into this week’s tourney. The Tigers are the 7th seed and will face 2nd seeded Oklahoma State today.

The Big 12 will use a different tournament format than it has in recent years. This year’s tourney will feature two pools with four teams each. Every team will play the three other teams in its pool with the winners meeting for the championship. Mizzou is joined in its pool by Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, and Kansas.
