May 23, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

The federal jury that found Robert Bolden Senior guilty of murdering Bank of America security guard Nathan Ley in St. Louis has recommended the death penalty. The guard was killed in October of 2002, when Bolden and two accomplices approached the bank, planning to rob it. They ran into Ley in the bank’s parking lot. Bolden then shot Ley twice. Ley died a couple of hours later. The two accomplices have pleaded guilty to various charges and will be sentenced next month. Formal sentencing for Bolden is set for August 25th.
