Larry Hughes returned but didn’t play in the Cleveland Cavaliers game six loss to the Detroit Pistons Friday. However, on Sunday, he just couldn’t sit and watch any longer.

Hughes, who had been mourning the death of his younger brother Justin, hadn’t played since the Cavs lost in game one. The series ended just like it started for Hughes and Cleveland.

The Pistons held on after blowing an early 13 point lead to win game seven 79-61. Hughes, normally a starter, came off the bench Sunday to score 10 points but took just six shots in 25 minutes.

Detroit never trailed in the game and scored the games first seven points. They will now move on to the Eastern Conference Finals to face the Miami Heat.
