Former Fulton Acquitted on Child Sex Charges

May 22, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

Former Fulton pollice officer Danny Vaught has been acquitted of a half-dozen charges of child molestation and three more charges of attempted statutory rape. But the jury has convicted him of tampering with evidence. His daughter, who is now 15, testified her father molested her from the time she was 11 until she was 13. She later recanted her story. His lawyer says the girl was angry at her father because he spanked her.
