The company that makes Twinkies and Wonder Bread has crawled deeper into a financial hole despite cutting 20 percent of its workers and closing some stores. Interstate Bakeries of Kansas City says its sales have gone up a little in March, but it still lost $15-Million. That’s 50 percent more than Interstate lost in March. The numbers are in the monthly report Interstate has to file with a bankruptcy judge.
