Central Missouri St. and Missouri Western have made the field of the NCAA Division II Baseball Regionals. The Mules (44-14) beat Emporia St. twice on Saturday to win their seventh consecutive MIAA Conference Tournament. CMSU scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth to win the first game. They used a six-run fourth inning to cruise to a 9-6 win over ESU in the title game.

Central Missouri St. will be the fifth seed in the regional, which will be hosted by Emporia St. (44-11).

Missouri Western (30-23) earned the sixth seed in the regional, and enter the tournament limping. They lost both games they played in the MIAA Tournament, falling 11-3 to CMSU in their opener, then lost 6-1 to Washburn on Saturday. The Griffons have lost four in a row.

The NCAA Regionals will get underway on May 18, with pairings to be announced

DIVISION IIII—Two St. Louis area teams have advanced to the post season, but only one will survive past the regionals. Washington University (34-5) will host one of seven regionals in the NCAA Division III Tournament. Washington, which doesn’t belong to a conference, hasn’t played since May 2. They’ll be the third seed. Joining them in the six-team regional is fifth-seeded Webster University (26-16) earned an automatic bid with a 6-4 win over Greenville in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship on Saturday.
