Turley Tries Tight End, Will Workout With Chiefs

May 11, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

Former Rams offensive tackle Kyle Turley has shed 40 pounds and is trying to make a comeback in the NFL as a tight end. He’ll be visiting Kansas City next week for a workout. Chiefs’ vice president of pro personnel, Bill Kuharich, was the general manager for the Saints in 1998 and took Turley as the seventh overall pick. In 2003, he joined the Rams and started 16 games, but back problems have kept him out of commission for two seasons.
