Ground Being Broken for Missouri’s Newest Hall of Fame

May 5, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

Missouri, which has the National Dog Museum and the Bowling Hall of Fame now gets another unusual all-star attraction. Ground will be broken near Wentzville, today, for the National Horseshoe Pitchers Association Hall of Fame Museum. Twelve gold-plated horseshoes will be tossed to break the sod for a museum honoring the best of what’s called “a barbecuing, horseshoe-pitching, beer-drinking kind of activity that anyone can enjoy.” The comment comes from St. Charles County Councilman Joe Brazil, who says the county is lucky to have it.
