April 2006 General Revenue Report Shows Collections on the Rise

The April 2006 General Revenue Report, released by the Office of Administration, shows 2006 fiscal year to date net general revenue collections have risen 8.2 percent compared to April 2005 fiscal year to date collections. The total rose from $5.52-Billion to $5.98-Billion. In addition, April 2006 net general revenue collections compared to April 2005 collections increased by 15.8 percent. Individual gross income tax collections increased 10.1 percent for the year. Corporate income and corporate franchise tax collections rose 29.4 percent for the year.
