New Missouri basketball coach Mike Anderson is close to signing guard J.T. Tiller to a letter of intent. Tiller, who originally signed with Anderson at UAB, was released from his letter of intent there. He averaged 15 points, six assists and just under three steals per game at Wheeler High School in Marietta, Georgia. Perhaps his most impressive statistic came off the court, where he pulled down a 3.95 grade point average.

MU already has two players signed for next season: New Jersey high school senior Keon Lawrence and junior college transfer Vaidatos Volkus from Redlands Community College (Ok.).
