Don’t expect to see shots of Priest Holmes working out with the team when the Chiefs mini-camp begins in a couple of weeks. Head coach Herman Edwards said on Wednesday that Holmes will not be attending the practices because he hasn’t been medically cleared.
Holmes saw his season come to a close in Kansas City’s loss at San Diego last October 30, when he absorbed a helmet-to-helmet blow from Shawne Merriman. He suffered head and neck trauma.
