Tornadoes Touch Down in Southeast Missouri

April 26, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

Residents of the Bootheel have to feel snake-bit as they begin recovery efforts – again – after torandoes roared through the area. At least three tornadoes were reported in deep southeast Missouri, none nearly as severe as those that devastated the area three weeks ago. And, it appears a bit of property damage is all residents have to cope with this time. Residents will be back to clearing away trees brought down by the storms and utility crews are working to restore power lines that had just been repaired after the previous storm.
