More vaccine is headed to the Midwest to deal with the worst outbreak of mumps in years. Nanci Gonder with the State Health Department says the bulk of the MMR – measles-mumps-rubella – vaccine, probably won’t find its way to Missouri because we don’t have a major problem here. Missouri has just over 20 confirmed or probable cases of mumps, compared to more than 800 in neighboring Iowa.
