Edwards Finishes Fourth In Phoenix

Kevin Harvick took the checkered flag in NASCAR’s Cup race on Saturday night. Among the four Missouri drivers in the field, Columbia’s Carl Edwards had the best finish. After some early troubles in the pits, Edwards rebounded to finish fourth. He jumped six spots, from 22nd to 16th, in points. Joplin’s Jamie McMurray was 15th in Saturday’s race. He moved up to 20th in points. Fenton’s Ken Schrader finished 17th and St. Louisian Kenny Wallace was 25th.
