Talk of a rolling roof for Kauffman and Arrowhead Stadiums in Kansas City is not dead – despite Jackson County voters’ rejection, earlier this month, of a proposal to institute a tax to pay for the project. Kansas City Chiefs Chairman Clark Hunt met with Kansas City business leaders on Friday to talk about the possibility of bringing back the idea for another vote down the road. On April 4th, Jackson County voters approved a sales tax to pay for renovations to the Truman Sports Complex stadiums, but they turned down a second tax proposal that would have helped pay the costs of the rolling roof.
