The Missouri baseball team broke out of its nine-game losing streak with a 4-0 win over St. Louis University in the annual “Wood Bat Classic” game on Wednesday. Eight Mizzou pitchers combined to throw a one-hitter. Tim Landy recorded SLU’s only hit on a two-out single in the fifth innings. Trevor Helms put Missouri ahead with a two-run homer in the second. The Tigers added two more runs on two groundouts in the fourth. Missouri improved to 17-18 with the win, while SLU fell to 19-16.
