A player in the Cardinals farm system has tested positive for steroids and will miss a substantial amount of time as a result. Yonathan Sivira, who is an outfielder for the Class A Quad City Swing, tested positive and has been given a 50-game suspension. Five minor league players were suspended for positive tests on Tuesday.
