Fourth SBU Football Player Arrested In Connection With Assault

A fourth member of the Southwest Baptist University football team in Bolivar was arrested on Monday in connection with the beating of a 22-year old Bolivar man last Thursday. Three players were arrested last week.

Joshua Mincks is still in a Springfield hospital recovering from a broken jaw and head swelling. According to police witnesses several men assaulted Mincks by parking a car on his body and jumping on the car.
