Grain Valley Couple Apologizes for Sextuplet Hoax

They’re sorry. They’re not really parents of six new babies and they’ll give back any money people have donated to them after hearing their story. Grain Valley residents Kris and Sarah Everson say the police investigation of their fake story, which was posted on the Internet ad picked up by some Kansas City media outlets has been “very stressful.” One stressful part of their lives is the ongoing police investigation. A police spokesman says officers are trying to determine how much money the Eversons have gotten.
