Nearly all gas sold in Missouri by 2008 would have to have at least 10-percent ethanol under a bill receiving final approval in the House. Supporters say the bill invests in an emerging industry and will benefit the state both economically and environmentally. The bill now moves to the Senate. The state has three ethanol plants up and running. Two more are under construction.
