Severe Weather Blasts Missouri

April 3, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

Three people are confirmed dead from the storms that hit Missouri yesterday afternoon and last night. At least 26 people have been seriously hurt in Caruthersville, where sixty percent of the town has been damaged by a tornado. Caruthersville is in the Bootheel. Susie Stonner at State Emergency Management Agency headquarters says damage also is reported in Ralls, Stoddard, Dunklin, and St. Francois Counties. Several other areas of Missouri had lesser property damage or were hit with big hail.
