Nathan Culp’s first career shutout kept the Missouri Tigers atop the Big 12 standings. Culp fired a three-hitter to lead Mizzou to a 3-0 win over the Kansas Jayhawks. Culp struck out five batters to improve to 6-2 on the season. Trevor Helms put Mizzou on top for good with a two-run homer in the top of the second. The Tigers added an insurance run on an RBI single by Jacob Priday in the eighth. Missouri improved to 6-1 in conference play and remained a half-game in front of Texas on top of the Big 12 standings.
