St. Louisan Killed In Wreck At Miami-Homestead

Tragedy stuck at the Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday when former St. Louisan Paul Dana crashed with fellow racer Ed Carpenter in a practice run. Dana died two hours later in a hospital. He hit Carpenter, who had spun out of a turn. Carpenter was hospitalized but he had no broken bones. Dana raced for Rahal Letterman Racing. Dana, who was 30, was an Indy Racing League rookie.
