University of Missouri President Elson Floyd wants the Board of Curators to hike tuition rates five percent, starting this summer. The curators meet later this week in Rolla. The five-percent increase works out to $324 a year for students taking 15 credit hours a semester. It would put annual tuition at more than $6,800 – not counting fees. Tuition at the University of Missouri has increased 53 percent in five years.
