The St. Louis Blues dropped their fourth straight game with a 6-0 loss to the Sharks on Tuesday at the Savvis Center. Jonathan Cheechoo got the Sharks on the board in the first period with a goal at the 4:53 mark. It was 1-0 after the first period.

In the second period, San Jose’s Steve Bernier scored twice in a 5:08 span with a goal at the 1:09 mark and another at the 6:17 mark. The Sharks added three more goals in a 6:01 span in the third period to seal the blowout.

Blues goaltender Rheinhard Divis stopped 23 of the 29 shots he faced.

The Blues learned on Monday that defenseman Barret Jackman is gone for the season after suffering a broken jaw during an on-ice fight against the Predators on Monday.
