Former Majority Leader Armey Talks Up Competition in Technology Industry

March 14, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

A former Majority Leader of the U.S. House of Representatives visits Jefferson City to talk about how both business and consumers benefit from greater competition. In a show of support for the cable TV bill that is currently before the State Senate, former Congressman Dick Armey spoke of how today’s technology has moved far beyond the government regulations that are standing in the way of advancement. Armey says the thinking of consumers and regulatory agencies must change. Armey later met with reporters, saying he has spoken with supporters of the cable bill currently before lawmakers in Jefferson City, and supports the idea behind it.
