Tornadoes and severe thunderstorms roll through the state over the weekend, leaving a trail of death and destruction. Seven are dead and more than 40 are injured. One of the areas hit hard was North Central Missouri. Missourinet affiliate KRES received a call from listener Wayne Wilcox, who spotted a twister overhead. Randolph County Presiding Commissioner Jim Myles attended a meeting at six o’clock this morning at the Moberly Police Department, with all the law enforcement and protection agencies in the county, represented. Myles asks that anyone who does not need to enter areas effected by yesterday’s storms, avoid doing so.
