The Rams attempt to revamp their lowly offense from last season continued on Sunday, when they signed free agent linebacker Will Witherspoon of the Panthers to a six-year contract, worth a reported $33 million. Witherspoon, who has four years of experience, made 109 tackles with 2.5 sacks and two interceptions.

On Saturday, they signed free agent safety Corey Chavous of the Vikings. Chavous made 90 tackles last season with two interceptions and nine QB pressures. He’s started all 64 games in the regular season the last four years.

The Rams offense was 30th in the NFL last season.
