Kari Koch scored 28 points to lead the Missouri St. women’s basketball team to a 69-64 come-from-behind win over Bradley in the opening round of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament in Springfield. In doing so she became just the third player in Missouri Valley Conference history to surpass the 2,000-point mark.

Missouri St. trailed by as many as 15 points in the second half and were down by 14 when they ripped off a 21-0 run to take a 65-58 lead.

Freshman Breton Wyett scored 10 of her 12 points in the second half, while sophomore Tahnee Balerio also added 12.

With the win MSU improved to 14-14 and will face second-seeded Drake tonight.
